New Jurassic World "Era” Focus Can Do Something The Reboot Was Too Afraid To Do 10 Years Ago

The news that Jurassic World 4 will take the franchise into a "new era" means the series can pull off something that it was too afraid to do 10 years ago. The Jurassic Park franchise began back in 1993 when director Steven Spielberg adapted Michael Crichton’s bestselling novel for the screen. Jurassic Park was a huge hit, spawning a sequel that Spielberg returned to direct in 1997. After Jurassic Park: The Lost World came 2001’s Jurassic Park III, and the franchise then remained dormant until 2015’s reboot Jurassic World, continuing the story of the original trilogy.
