PS Plus Games For February Include Tiny Tina's Assault on Dragon Keep

Tiny Tina's Assault on Dragon Keep: A Wonderlands One-Shot Adventure will headline the PS Plus lineup for February 2022, alongside the likes of EA Sports UFC 4. Gearbox originally deployed the Tiny Tina-centric content in 2013 as a DLC expansion for Borderlands 2. In preparation for the release of Tiny Tina's Wonderlands, the studio published the Assault on Dragon Keep DLC as standalone experience, attaching the Wonderlands One-Shot Adventure subtitle to further connect the two Tiny Tina releases.

Inspired by Dungeons & Dragons, Tiny Tina's Assault on Dragon Keep brought Borderlands' over-the-top action and irreverent humor to a fantastical setting replete with loot, new characters, and chaotic battles. Players assume the role of one of six Vault Hunters tasked with rescuing a kidnapped Queen and restoring order to her kingdom. Tiny Tina serves as bunkermaster, weaving a winding tale like only Tiny Tina can. With the character's Wonderlands adventure set to launch in a matter of weeks, the nine-year-old expansion has once more entered the topic of conversation.

Today, January 26, the PlayStation Europe Twitter account unveiled February's collection of PS Plus titles. Tiny Tina's Assault on Dragon Keep should mark the main attraction for some, while other PS Plus subscribers will also take special interest in EA Sports UFC 4 and Planet Coaster: Console Edition, the latter of which will only be playable on PS5. According to a PlayStation Blog post, all three games hit the subscription service next month on Tuesday, February 1 and leave on Monday, February 28.

Next month's collection of PS Plus freebies looks as though it will have something for everyone. Those who aren't into Borderlands but like sports can give UFC 4 a try, for instance. The most recent entry in EA's UFC-branded fighting series, UFC 4 boasts a roster filled with dozens of professional mixed martial artists, including Ronda Rousey, Conor McGregor, Georges St-Pierre. Meanwhile, tycoon game Planet Coaster: Console Edition offers up a park simulation experience that runs even smoother on PS5 hardware.

Persona 5 Strikers headlined January 2022's PS Plus lineup, which also included hit racing game Dirt 5 and FPS co-op shooter Deep Rock Galactic. Each of these three titles will leave the PlayStation subscription service later this month on Monday, January 31. As such, all PS Plus members would do well to access them before time's up. Even players who don't intend on playing the likes of Persona 5 Strikers anytime soon should add it to their games library, where it will remain unless the PS Plus subscription lapses.
