A funny new trailer has been released for the second season of the Netflix original series Space Force. The show stars Steve Carell as General Mark R. Naird, who is dealing with his criminal wife, Maggie (Lisa Kudrow), and angsty daughter, Erin (Diana Silvers), as he attempts to create the sixth branch of the United States Armed Forces, the United States Space Force.
Carell, Kudrow and Silvers are joined in the series by returning cast members John Malkovich, Ben Schwartz, Jimmy O. Yang, and Don Lake. And as you’ll see in the trailer, Patton Oswalt has joined the show this season!
Here is the synopsis for Space Force season 2:
Season 2 of Space Force picks up with General Naird and his underdog team having to prove their worth to a new administration while dealing with interpersonal challenges. Will the group come together or fall apart under the pressure...? Space Force is only human after all.
I had a hard time getting into the first season, even as much as I love the cast and co-creators Carell and Greg Daniels, who created the American version of The Office as well as Parks and Recreation. Maybe I need to give it another shot, because this trailer looked hilarious. “What happens in space, stays in space!”
