In an announcement that shocked the world, a brand new fighting game was announced by the popular studio Ludosity, and it is going to feature the animated characters of Nickelodeon. The first trailer came out for Nickelodeon All-Stars Brawl, and it looked to have several similarities to Nintendo's popular franchise Super Smash Bros.
Popular characters from Nickelodeon's current shows are fully represented so far, but so are several characters from Nicktoons past. With it seeming like the roster can cover all of Nickelodeon's history, there are plenty of characters that fans are clamoring for to be in this potential new franchise.
10 Rocko
An early entrant to the Nicktoons universe, Rocko's Modern Life is one of the zaniest shows Nickelodeon has ever made, having a wide range of wacky characters it introduced to fans. The show's popularity has strong enough that it should have a character on this roster, and Rocko is the prime candidate here.
While most characters may have a move-set that would be a little more grounded in reality, that is not the case for Rocko as the world he lives in makes almost anything believable. One of the more popular episodes involves Rocko on a jackhammer, so that would be a great option for one of his attacks.
9 Arnold Shortman
A decent amount of shows already have a character on the roster, and Hey Arnold! is one of them, with Helga Pataki being the first representative. Hey Arnold! has had a bit of a resurgence in popularity, so they are more than deserving of a second character, and Arnold himself should be that character.
Arnold is generally your average kid, but that doesn't mean he couldn't still have a unique move-set that separates him from not only Helga but everyone else. Episodes have featured anything from baseball bats, to trash cans, to pigeons, all of which can be incorporated to make Arnold fun to play.
8 Tommy Pickles
Rugrats is the timeless classic of the Nicktoons, and it's so popular that a new version of the show was released on Paramount Plus. The baby's favorite reptile, Reptar, has been confirmed to join the fight, but the show should have another character on the roster, and the leader of the babies Tommy Pickles is the perfect representative.
Understandably, some fans may find it strange to have an actual baby as a fighter, but Tommy is an animated character, so that shouldn't stop him. He can use a bottle or his trusty screwdriver as his weapons, or call in the Reptar Wagon to charge in and knock his enemies off the stage.
7 Dagget & Norbert
All of the characters that have been announced so far for the game seem to have very different play styles and moves, unlike Smash Bros that has its fair share of clone characters. An opportunity is available to make an extremely unique character by having the game's first duo character, and the popular brothers of Dagget and Norbert from Angry Beavers are the best candidate for this.
While the brothers' personalities couldn't be more different, having them work together could bring a fun element of chaotic energy to the roster. Since they are beavers, some of their gameplay could involve them attacking with their teeth, or their trusted friend stump can be used in attacks as well.
6 Jimmy Neutron
A fighting game generally has a bunch of characters that can get into the fight and throw some punches with the best of them, but some characters don't have those abilities. They instead use their superior intellect to outsmart others, and no other character can match the intellect of the boy genius himself, Jimmy Neutron.
Jimmy is known for his large array of inventions that appeared in several of the show's episodes, and he has several that could be utilized in a fight. His most popular is of course his robot dog Goddard, and he can use Goddard to fly around and move quickly on the battlefield.
5 Donnie
The Wild Thornberrys is a popular show for Nickelodeon, with multiple seasons, two feature films, and a television film in their history. Due to this popularity, the patriarch of the family, Nigel Thornberry is already on the roster, but if they were to get a second one then the wild child Donnie is the best candidate.
Donnie can move around the stage with a recklessness that can go unmatched thanks to his animalistic upbringing. He can jump around or maybe even swing around on vines for some of his attacks, or call on some animals to assist him with some wild attacks too.
4 Reggie Rocket
Rocket Power brings the extreme sports element to the Nicktoons universe, and all four of the Rocket Power kids would be good candidates to be the representative on the roster. If only one is picked Reggie Rocket would be the one most fans would ask to bring her strong skills to the game.
Reggie can use her skating skills to move around the battlefield and do tricks with her skateboard to attack, or get inventive and use her skateboard as a weapon. For a more traditional attack style, she can pull out her hockey stick for close-range attacks, or smack pucks at her foes for range attacks.
3 Jenny Wakeman
Nickelodeon has made some of the best animated shows ever, but that doesn't mean that every show they make is going to be a hit with the audience. A few shows slip through the cracks even if they have great characters, and that is where Jenny from My Life as a Teenage Robot falls in.
Jenny has a massive following of fans even though the show was short-lived, and she was literally built for a game like this one. Jenny's super strength and speed, as well as her large array of weaponry she can turn her hands and feet into would give her a move-set that will make Jenny the fan-favorite she was always meant to be.
2 The Crimson Chin
Fairly Odd Parents is one of the most popular shows in Nickelodeon history, as well as one of its longest-running. It's almost a guarantee that a character from this show will get in, and there are tons of great characters to choose from, but the most obvious choice would be the show's actual superhero, The Crimson Chin.
The Crimson Chin is the shows standard comic book hero brought to life on occasion, and his crime-fighting abilities are perfectly suited for a fighting game. He has your standard hero super strength that would make him a great brawler, but attacks with his enhanced chin can make for some fun attacks.
1 Quailman
As fighting games have progressed through the years, they have shifted their rosters to allow for guest characters, characters that come from other franchises to join the game. With this game being in its first iteration, guest characters are probably not likely, but if anyone has a chance to be the first, it's without question Doug.
While Doug originated on Nickelodeon, one of their first Nicktoons, the show moved to Disney for its latter seasons, bring up the question of who has the rights to the character. If Doug is cleared to join the roster, his alter-ego of Quailman would be a perfect inclusion, using his ability of flight and hypnosis to his advantage in battle.
