Star Trek Beyond had a higher critical score on Rotten Tomatoes than Star Trek Into Darkness, but a lower audience score. Saldana returned as Lt. Uhura in the movie, along with the rest of the star-studded cast that also included Chris Pine as Captain Kirk and Zachary Quinto as Spock.

One of two animated movies in Zoe Saldana's list of best non-marvel movies based on Rotten Tomatoes scores, Missing Link was Laika's (Coraline, ParaNorman) fifth movie. The movie features an explorer trying to help a Sasquatch find its way back to its ancestors, the Yetis.
To find this land, the explorer has to go to an old girlfriend in Adelina Fortnight, a fiercely independent adventurer voiced by Saldana. Rotten Tomatoes critics gave it an 88% rating, calling the movie "sophisticated" and "nuanced."
2 Star Trek (2009) - 94%
The first J.J. Abrams Star Trek movie is the highest-rated of his trilogy, sitting at 94% and certified fresh. The movie also has the highest audience score at 91% for a movie that brought in a new cast to take on the classic roles.
Zoe Saldana debuts as Nyota Uhura, a Starfleet cadet who teams with Chris Pine's James T. Kirk and a crew of cadets to seek out a Vulcan distress signal. Critics praised it as both a "nostalgia trip" and a fun sci-fi movie for new fans.
