The Challenge: 10 Rumored Male Players Who Could Appear Next Season (According To Reddit)

When it comes to future seasons of MTV's hit reality TV competition The Challenge, the network isn't exactly running a tight ship. Whether it's through hawk-eyed fans monitoring social media posts or it's through straight-up spoilers, plenty of fans can figure out major aspects of future Challenges when they really want to.

And unsurprisingly, the future of The Challenge is a pretty hot topic on Reddit. And although the upcoming 37th season of The Challenge is still in preproduction, speculating fans have a pretty good idea of who is potentially going to show up on the next Challenge. So, which big-name male competitors are likely to be on season 37?

10 Nam Vo

Nam Vo made his debut on the current season of The Challenge, Double Agents, and to be honest, despite the high expectations for someone as intelligent and athletic as him, his first season was a bit of a disappointment.

However, a lot of that seems to come down to his bad pairing with Lolo Jones and his medical disqualification from the season, so most fans would be glad to see him back and see what he's truly capable of.

9 Joss Mooney

Joss Mooney has only done three seasons of The Challenge so far, but given how memorable his elimination with Derrick was, as well as his excellent performance on Final Reckoning, it comes as no surprise that he's on the shortlist for season 37 of The Challenge.

He's a strong competitor who should have won Final Reckoning, so hopefully he'll get far if he returns for the next season.

8 Johnny "Bananas" Devenanzio

Johnny Bananas hasn't been confirmed for the next season of The Challenge, but it's not exactly surprising that he's likely going to show up. After all, it's generally more shocking if Bananas isn't on a season than if he is on one.

And, given that he didn't actually appear on Double Agents, it seems exceptionally likely that he's going to be on the follow-up, as taking a two-season break is pretty much unheard of for Bananas.

7 Jordan Wiseley

Although his now ex-fiancee Tori Deal is also rumored to have gotten an availability call for the next season, it wouldn't be a surprise if Jordan shows up as well.

Some players would go out of their way to avoid their exes on a reality TV show, but Jordan lives for the competition and isn't exactly the type to back down from a confrontation, so if he and Tori are both cast for the next season, things might get interesting.

6 Jay Starrett

Jay is still a relative newbie to The Challenge, but he's managed to make a bigger impression on the audience in two seasons than some other players have made in ten.

It's not a shock that he's another player who is constantly on the list of potentials for each new seasons, and given his fanboyish enthusiasm for the series, it seems likely that he'll say yes every time he's asked and available.

5 Derrick Kosinski

When any player takes significant breaks from appearing on The Challenge, it's a mystery whether they're ever coming back. But Diesel Derrick is one contestant that fans are always hoping to see return in any capacity, so knowing that he's on the shortlist for season 37 is exciting.

Derrick is one of the most intimidating vets in the history of The Challenge, and every time he comes back to the show he proves he's still got it.

4 Faysal "Fessy" Shafaat

Honestly, Fessy hasn't quite lived up to fan expectations or to his own beliefs about himself that he's primed to become one of the most dominant players in The Challenge, but he's physically intimidating, and it looks like the show is going to give him a lot of opportunities to prove himself.

The dominance of Big Brother in the most recent seasons of the show is getting a little tired, but hopefully, if Fessy is on the next season, he actually has to play a bit harder.

3 Devin Walker

Perhaps it's because so many big-name vets and threatening players were either missing or went home early this season, but it seems like the audience has universally agreed that Devin is what made Double Agents what it is.

He's actually a tougher competitor than he likes to let on, but honestly, it seems like he has guaranteed himself an invitation back to every season based on the entertainment value he brings alone.

2 Darrell Taylor

Darrell is clearly one of the greatest of all time to play the game, and his success in Double Agents really demonstrated that he hasn't lost that magic.

Watching the vets school some new kids and showing exactly why they've dominated the game for so long is awesome, so the more vets that come back to the series and kick ass, the better.

1 CT Tamburello

Aside from Bananas, seeing CT's name on the shortlist of contenders for an upcoming season of The Challenge is the least surprising thing ever, but that's for a reason.

He's a beast in pretty much every aspect of the game, and while he's completely evolved as a person over the course of his Challenge career, he still brings some of that hotheaded CT fire to each season, making him one of the most entertaining players in Challenge history.
