Modders are having a little more fun lately with Cyberpunk 2077, including taking the game's antagonist and final boss Adam Smasher and turning him into a Joytoy, 2077's euphemism for a sex worker, for some admittedly disturbing grappling of a different variety. Now that the storm surrounding Cyberpunk 2077's cataclysmically bad release has died down somewhat, those who haven't swapped their copy of the game for a refund are having some fun with mods, including a few that aren't quite rated PG.
Full-borg Solo Adam Smasher, as mentioned, reigns as Cyberpunk 2077's primary baddie, a cyborg who is more machine than man after a freak accident cost him most of his organic bits. As Smasher never had much love for humanity, including his own, he likely didn't lose any sleep over his cybernetic upgrades. He eventually finds gainful employment as the head of security at Arasaka Tower as Yorinobu Arasaka's hired muscle, and is primarily responsible for the disappearance of Johnny Silverhand. As the game's antagonist, he also has a hand in the majority of the game's conflict, until his final battle with the protagonist at the game's finale.
Although Cyberpunk 2077 got off to a legendarily bad start, modders have taken up the mantle to improve the PC version of the game wherever they can, whether by giving players a third-person option or more stuff to hack into, while others are just meant for fun, including one involving the resident borg. While no one would consider Adam Smasher to be blessed with any degree of sex appeal, a Redditor recently posted a video of a mod of indeterminate origin, in which via a basic model swap, Adam Smasher takes on the role of a Joytoy, or sex worker, engaging the player in a little pre-purchased professional intimacy. The NSFW video can be checked out below - while there is no nudity, viewers should be aware that there is explicit sexual content:
It's certainly not for players who turn the nudity off when starting the game up, and it doesn't have any practical purpose beyond a good laugh. It's unclear as to whether or not the Redditor who posted it, booka3oid, was responsible for the mod or just reporting it. But it's a simple model swap following the base Joytoy's animation, and it most likely won't break the game any more than the crunch time over at CD Projekt Red already did.
So any player who's into inhuman cyborgs (no shame) can get a kick out of watching Adam Smasher's gyrating metal pelvis. Otherwise, it's just entertaining to see what sort of shenanigans modders can come up with, now that Cyberpunk 2077 is more or less playable.
Cyberpunk 2077 is available to play now on Google Stadia, PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
