The next Evil Dead movie's title and release year have been revealed by writer and director Sébastien Vaniček, teasing what horrors await. It was confirmed in February 2024 that Vaniček would serve as director and co-writer to a new movie in the franchise, joined by writer Florent Bernard alongside Sam Raimi and Robert Tapert serving as producers. While it's unclear if the film will take place after the end of Evil Dead Rise, the movie will be expanding on the horror universe with a new story from the two creatives new to the franchise.
