M3GAN is one of Blumhouse Studios’ most innovative and creepy horror movies of the past few years, taking a concept that’s extremely relevant in today’s society and giving it a frightful twist that bleeds eerily into real life. The story follows a scientist who develops an incredibly advanced AI doll called M3GAN, whom she gifts to her niece when the child is unexpectedly placed in her custody. With M3GAN’s strong marketing campaign and terrifying premise doing much of the heavy lifting, the film immediately became a huge success.
