Based on Sandra Barnedas novel La tierra de las mujeres, Land of Women is now a dramedy on Apple TV+. The talented Eva Longoria, who has been part of the cultural zeitgeist since her starring role in Desperate Housewives, leads the cast of the mostly Spanish-language series as the happily married wine connoisseur Gala. Unfortunately, her husband borrowed a large sum of money unbeknownst to her and is now on the run from some pretty dangerous people leaving her to look out for her daughter Kate (Victoria Bazua) and mother Julia (Carmen Maura).
