Though the Adventure Time spinoff series has been in development for years, yet there is now Adventure Time: Fionna and Cake news that puts a solid arrival date for the long-awaited gender-swapped adventures. Adventure Time followed Finn the human (Jeremy Shada) and Jake the dog (John DiMaggio) on a series of animated adventures. Fionna and Cake are alternate-universe versions of those characters. They’re gender-swapped, and in the case of Cake, even species swapped, since Cake is a cat instead of a dog.
