Jim Caviezel stars as the protagonist in the movie, which opened to rave reviews and an unexpected surge at the box office during the first week of July 2023. It held its own against the high-profile film Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny, as they both made around $11 million on July 4, which was Sound of Freedom's opening day in theaters.
