The Bear tells the story of a young chef who takes over his brother's restaurant after his untimely death. Season 1 was about preserving the business, but the finale saw him decide to raise the bar and create a new hot spot in Chicago. In season 2, the employees must learn to also up their game — and they learn quite a bit about themselves along the way.
