Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem is finally set for release this summer. Ahead of the animated reboot’s debut, it’s been revealed that Trent Reznor & Atticus Ross will compose the film’s score.
The news came courtesy of legendary skateboarder Tony Hawk, who noted in a recent episode of the Hawk vs. Wolf podcast that the pair would be working on the soundtrack. “Him and Atticus are working on Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles,” said Hawk. “When I went there, they were working on the soundtrack to that movie that Seth [Rogen] told us about.”
Reznor — the frontman behind the band Nine Inch Nails — and Ross are longtime collaborators. Together, the pair have created soundtracks for a variety of films, including The Social Network, The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, Gone Girl, Soul, Mid90s, Bird Box, Bones and All, Empire of Light, and more.
Up next for the duo are David Fincher‘s 2023 film The Killer and Challengers — a new romantic sports comedy from Luca Guadagnino.
