Ahead of Halloween Ends, Jamie Lee Curtis bids her most iconic character, Laurie Strode, goodbye. Though Curtis has acted in many genres during her impressive four decade career in Hollywood, she is best known as a scream queen and final girl due to her roles in the Halloween franchise as well as The Fog and Prom Night in 1980, and Roadgames in 1981. The actor is also set to star in Disney+'s The Haunted Mansion reboot as Madame Leota, continuing her storied career in horror. Curtis first played Laurie in 1978 John Carpenter film Halloween, and was one of the first horror heroines to return to a long-dormant franchise with 2018's Halloween, directed by David Gordon Green, a trend which was continued by the Scream franchise as well as others.
