NASA's Double Asteroid Redirection Test (DART) spacecraft is all set to crash into its target asteroid tonight, and the event will be streamed live on multiple platforms. NASA launched its DART spacecraft last November aboard a Falcon 9 rocket as part of a planned test to save the Earth from probable asteroid hits in the future. It is the first mission of its kind that will test whether slamming a spacecraft into a rogue asteroid on a collision course with planet Earth would be an effective way to avoid a catastrophe.
