Seeking Sister Wife: Cast Members Fans Just Can't Trust

There are a lot of reasons why Seeking Sister Wife couples decide to pursue polygamy, and some fans question the intentions of certain cast members. From deep spirituality to supporting feminism, these couples make lofty claims about why they chose non-traditional lifestyles. Some fans just aren't buying it.

As viewers follow these couples while they look to expand their families, many are convinced that what the couples say rarely lines up with reality. In fact, the show's fans consider several cast members to be flat-out liars. While this is mostly speculation, there are some good reasons to doubt certain Seeking Sister Wife stars.

Dimitri and Ashley Snowden may often be seen with big, charming smiles on their faces, but they recently became the most notorious couple on the show. After their sister wife Christeline Petersen left the family, she accused Dimitri and Ashley of abuse. While there was not enough evidence to make the charges stick, many viewers still believe that their toothy grins hide serious anger issues. Seeking Sister Wives fans think that those anger issues need to be addressed. However, Dimitri and Ashley aren’t the only cast members that viewers just don't trust.

Jarod Clark isn’t afraid to admit that he sees himself as a king and wants many queens to help him create his kingdom. However, when he tried to convince his second wife Kaleh to quit her job to take care of his house full-time, viewers realized that Jarod wanted a maid rather than a queen.

Another man who appears to be lying about his motivation is "hypocrite" Garrick Merrifield. He claims to be interested in pursuing polygamy to deepen his Christianity and emphasized on the show that his motivation wasn’t sex. However, when Garrick supposedly connected deeply with a woman who didn't speak his language (and then jumped into bed with her before they were married), his motivations became crystal clear.

Tosha and Sidian Jones seemed like a friendly couple. They were a pair that fans wanted to like. Unfortunately, the more information that comes out about their past, the more untrustworthy they seem. Tosha was charged with felony theft in 2016, although she later had that charge reduced to a misdemeanor. Sidian’s alleged ex also came forward, making claims against the couple in the pinned comments of a Tracie Trendy Show YouTube video discussing Sidian and Tosha. Most of the Seeking Sister Wife couples have failed marriages. Sidian’s ex claims she never agreed to polygamy, and during the time Tosha claims she left Sidian to help him fix his first marriage, the ex repeatedly caught Sidian and Tosha together. Trying to discern the truth about the Jones family is difficult.

There’s a very obvious pattern and that is that men who pursue polygamy are often concerned only with their own happiness. They try to paint it in a more favorable light, but their actions speak louder than the words they say. Many of their first wives lie, too, claiming to want to be willing participants when their husbands want to bring in more wives. However, when viewers see Dannielle Merrifield crying or Vanessa Clark talking about how Jarod eventually convinced her it wasn’t just about his pleasure, it’s painfully obvious that these women don’t really want to be in polygamous marriages on Seeking Sister Wife.
