The list of romantic moments in K-dramas goes on and on. These moments aren't just about steamy, sizzling kisses, but the intense and loving emotions between characters. The small moments have fans smiling from ear to ear and clutching their hearts at how cute they are.
K-dramas are famous for these types of instances. In some cases, they help define and cement the undying devotion between couples. In other cases, they're a simple moment of peace in a chaotic and dramatic storyline. Regardless, fans can't get enough and these scenes had many wishing for these moments in real life.
10 Prettier Than The View - Love Alarm
Love Alarm has often been hailed for being a typical yet unique K-drama that got fans hooked. Based on a webtoon, the drama started its main relationship rather quickly, but it soon blossomed into deep love, even if the main characters are teenagers.
One scene that oozed romance and cuteness was in episode four. Sun-oh (Song Kang) and Jo-jo (Kim So-Hyun) take a leisurely stroll along the river. Sun-oh says that it's pretty and Jo-jo thinks he's referring to the view. He is, but he's actually also calling her pretty. He then tells her she's so pretty it makes his heart flutter. Swoon. Jo-jo then kisses him on the cheek and tells him "thank you."
9 The Forehead Kiss - Strong Woman Do Bong-Soon
In Strong Woman Do Bong-Soon, the relationship developed naturally and had fans feeling the main characters' intense love for each other. There are many romantic moments in the series, like their first kiss on the beach after Min-hyuk (Park Hyung-Sik) draws a heart in the sand and Bong-soon (Park Bo-young) finishes it, cementing their relationship.
One of the most romantic was in episode 12 when Min-hyuk steals away his girlfriend to a secluded area. He puts his arms on either side of her head stating he will protect her, "so the world can't do anything to her." She doesn't need to respond and he says he can already see everything. Their emotional gaze really does say it all.
8 The Reassuring Kiss - My Holo Love
The kiss in episode 10 of My Holo Love isn't what seals the deal in this romantic scene. To give some backstory, the female lead starts to develop feelings for a hologram designed to look like its creator. The creator starts to fall for her as well, but feels it's too late.
Both holding back tears, So-Yeon (Ko Sung-hee) gives him an emotional kiss of reassurance, and it's her words that take the cake. She admits she fell for him, and as much as she tried to deny it, she couldn't. She grabs his hand and tells him he deserves to be loved, even if it'll take him some time.
7 The End Monologue - A Love So Beautiful
In this teen K-drama, fans got to see Sol-i (So Joo-Yeon) try to win the heart of her crush and profess her love, but also get rejected a couple of times. While audiences saw her undying devotion, it's Cha Heon's (Kim Yo-han) monologue in the final episode that got every fan.
They both get their happy ending, but in between is Cha Heon's video explaining how he came to love her. He thought her persistence was cute and started to admire that she always came back to him and how she tried to keep up, even with her short legs. Even during their rough patch, he still couldn't imagine his life without her.
6 Dream Come True - My Strange Hero
This hazy, colorful scene in My Strange Hero is simultaneously emotional and romantic. In episode 14, Bok-soo (Yoo Seung-ho) and Soo-Jung (Jo Bo-ah) stand outside in the cold as she asks him how he could forgive her. He replies by saying that she made his dream come true - to be his girlfriend.
She tearfully apologizes for the pain she caused him and how she felt guilty every single day. Bok-soo holds her close and tells her it's okay because she's with him. It was a good thing he never forgot her. Yes, the scene does end with a kiss, but the dialogue is what wins.
5 Seo Dan & Seung-Jun - Crash Landing On You
Romance and emotion go hand in hand. In Crash Landing On You, there were many heart-wrenching scenes for fans to get through, but there were also plenty of tearful, romantic ones. Some attention needs to be given to the second-lead couple of the drama.
Seo Dan (Seo Ji-Hye) and Seung-jun (Kim Jung-Hyun) are out for a stroll and things get serious. Seung-jun tells her how he really feels and that she's pretty, even without makeup. Despite her being coy, haughty, and unfriendly, he can't hate her. She makes him want to become a better man and when she cries, his mind goes blank.
4 Hospital Dance - Vagabond
Vagabond may be all about thrills, action, and uncovering the truth, but it also has a sweet romance. In the midst of Dal-gun (Lee Seung-gi) and Hae-Ri (Bae Suzy) working together for justice, they start to fall in love. One of their sweetest and romantic moments is after Hae-Ri is in the hospital for rehabilitation.
Dal-gun offers some help. He hoists her up and does something many found cute. She puts her feet on top of his and he slowly walks with her, claiming it helps realign the bones and massage the muscles. As the music hits and there's a soft glow, it's almost as if they're dancing together.
3 Starring At The Moon - Hotel Del Luna
Hotel Del Luna had many romantic moments. The kiss in episode 13, where Chan-sung (Yeo Jin-goo) tells Man-Wol (IU) that he's doing the best he can to love her. Or when he marks his hand with the hotel symbol as a cute way of showing her that he's hers. In the final episode, there's a serene and romantic moment that had fans sighing with content.
Both characters truly love each other and decide to take a breather. Man-Wol questions how someone from 1,300 years ago found someone like Chan-sung. He tells her it takes that long to make certain connections. Chan-sung goes into a romantic monologue of how stars travel for years in order to become visible. They soon have a cute bit of bickering, but end looking at the moon in each other's arms.

Tae-Joon promises to come back because he wants to live a happy life and it means being with Kang-gook.
1 The Marriage Proposal - When The Camellia Blooms
Marriage proposals in K-dramas are surprisingly rarely lavish or over the top. Instead, they're small and emotional, including the one in When the Camelia Blooms. Yong-Sik (Kang Ha-Neul) is in the hospital and Dong-Baek (Gong Hyo-jin) tries to reason with him that she'll only cause him trouble.
To her surprise, he says they should stop flirting and get married. He tells her he is worrying so much that he's anxious and that she's super cute. He wants her for the rest of his life and proclaims how lucky he is. Dong-Baek thinks he's gone insane, but he tells her he didn't even hesitate to jump in the firepit to save her.
