To say the TLC couple have not been getting along would be an understatement. Both have played a part in their failing relationship, thanks to Brittany not caring about Jordanian culture and Yazan not being truthful about the dangers of her apathy from the beginning. Currently, fans are watching as Yazan realizes he may have given up everything for a chance with the American, who doesn’t seem to care as much about the relationship as he does.
Thankfully, the duo finally made a good choice in hiring a translator to effectively communicate. After months of not being able to see eye to eye, the interpreter's arrival led to breakthroughs that otherwise would never have come for the couple. But fans would like to know what took them so long to take this necessary step? The translator did what fans hoped he would do: He created some magic and mutual understanding between the two TLC personalities. Up until that point, the Florida native could not seem to wrap her head around the struggles Yazan was up against with his family, as she continued to flash her cleavage and post on Instagram. After understanding the true danger of the situation, Brittany told Yazan she didn’t know if she was willing to live her life that way.
But while the couple finally came to an understanding, fans were beside themselves. They couldn't help but think about how many altercations could have been avoided if Yazan had just found a translator to meet Brittany at the airport when she first arrived in Jordan. There would have been no screaming in the car or future in-laws jumping down Brittany's throat while she sat silently in confusion. In just a few short conversations, Brittany was able to understand the seriousness of the situation, and the fact that Yazan's life could truly be at risk.
While the TV show may come across as scripted at times, this relationship was not one to play around with. Choosing Brittany for a wife could have severe repercussions for the young Jordan native – ones he can never recover from. Fans hope the two make the right decision and stop jeopardizing both of their lives for a romance that doesn't work well anyway.
